Born and raised in Kansas City, Barrett Emke holds a BFA in photography from the University of Kansas. A fine art and editorial photographer, his photographs have appeared in publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Dazed & Confused, 'SUP Magazine, and VICE. His personal work has been exhibited in various cities throughout the U.S. and was formerly included in a group exhibition and accompanying catalog curated by Tim Barber. Emke self-published his first book of photographs, I Was a Dream Of Myself, in early 2014.
